Are You a Manifestor?

manifestor

Do you wish you could just snap your fingers like a genie and make your desires all come true? Are you one of the people who have been learning, understanding and using The Law of Attraction, or does it all just seem like nice words with kind of vague concepts? Do your background and your upbringing have you relying on something other than your Self to pray for such answers?

Sometimes, if it appears too good to be true, it is. That is not the case when it comes to manifesting what you want. Regardless of your childhood trainings, you can learn to manifest with the best of them. I’m smiling when I tell you that you can walk across any lake once you learn where the rocks are. Yes, kind of like that.

When you are a successful manifestor, you have learned the manifesting process and you’ve practiced it to tweak out small glitches that could impede you. In truth, you’ve practiced and practiced and practiced. All of that goes on behind the scenes where you step up to the plate, and hit your first home run, manifestation wise. And the crowds jump to their feet and yell and scream their amazement and their congratulations, because all they saw was that one educated swing that connected.

Would you like to learn how to connect like that? Here are a few basic concepts to understand before you step up to the plate:

This Earth Experience Is A Mental Experience. You are a mental being that projects a body. You, the mentality, are the Chief Executive Officer, and what you think is what you get. It is very helpful to spend some time thinking about being a mentality. You’ll begin to notice the gap between what you think and what you get seems to shorten. Oh, at first, you’ll think it’s just a coincidence that you just got what you thought.

You once had a baby sense of yourself and you projected that image. You matured, little by little, and as your mind matured, you automatically projected forth a more mature body. Now you are an adult. You’ve learned so much. You’ve had so many experiences, and your faithful slave – the body – is still reflecting all of that forward.

If your mind could wrap itself around the concept of Total Abundance, that is what you’d reflect forth, in the same way you manifest lunch, a new car, and a pair of Manolo Blahnik’s when you just have to have them.

Mind Basics Simplified. Now you might think this section is pure woo woo, but I’m asking your indulgence because there’s an integral point here. Have you ever noticed how things happen in threes? There are just so many threes:

  • 3 lights in a traffic light
  • 3 rings in a circus
  • 3 bones in the ear
  • 3 sheets to the wind
  • 3 wheel bikes
  • 3 piece suits
  • 3 feet in a yard
  • 3 blind mice

Need I go on? Would you like to know why we gravitate naturally to the number three? It’s because our mentalities work in a three-step process and it feels comfortable to us. What? You never heard of the three-step process? I’m sorry! Your mama would have told you if she’d known.

First Step: A desire wells up within you for something

Second Step: You immediately begin to think about that something

Third Step: You arrive at a conclusion and your desire manifests.

I think right now, I could quote another ‘three:’ On your mark. Get set. Go!

Practice Makes Perfect. Not “Go” yet? Okay, let me explain a bit more. In the First Step, there isn’t anything you have to do to make, encourage, or nudge it to begin the cycle. It’s automatic.

In the Second Step, there’s lots you can do to encourage manifestation. You can think about the thing you want. You can examine every single detail you can think of about that thing you want. You can be on the alert for two Enemies of Manifestation – doubt and fear – and be sure they aren’t in there poisoning the soup.

What happens at the end of the Second Step – if you’ve eliminated all your doubts and fears – is that your mind slides into the Third Step – home plate. You’ve arrived at an Aha! moment that IS that conclusion. It pretty generally looks something like this: “Well, of course I can have those Manolo Bhlaniks. There is nothing standing in my way.”

When you first begin to experiment with this, what becomes strong is the conviction that it is you who is working the process; you who has cranked over the Cause Machine called your mind; and you who reaps the work of all that practice, practice, and practice.

A Few Practical Tips

Start small. No desire is impossible, but you have to build up to it. You had to learn math basics incrementally long before the concept of calculus showed up. Like that. Begin small so you don’t scare yourself half to death with doubt and fear. It will build up confidence and before you know it, badda bing! The big stuff.

Use visualization. Work to see the thing you desire clearly. Enlist your other senses. See it. Hear it. Touch it. Smell it. Taste it – all in your mind’s eye of course. Visualize what you’ll do with the thing desired. Visualize how you feel having it.

Possibility thinking. One of the best helpers toward manifesting is to acknowledge within your mind that such a thing is possible. If you don’t think it’s possible, you’ll never enjoy it. If you don’t believe you can, you won’t.

Keep on Keeping on! Perseverance regardless of what hasn’t shown up yet is one of the key elements behind manifesting. Don’t stop inches from the goal post.
